But the memories of the killings, and the abuse he suffered before joining the pack, continue to haunt him.

At 130 years old, he has spent decades grieving the humans he loved, and the idea of a mate—especially one over a century younger—is more than he feels he can handle. Content Notes: This book deals with past sexual assault, grief, and mourning. While it’s set in the Real Werewolves Don’t Eat Meat universe, it’s not a direct part of that series.
