Iโ€™ll lose everything if I give in to my desire, so why am I drawn to him like a moth to a flame?

Marcus

My senior year, I made a deal with the devil. Or, my father, as heโ€™s commonly known. I get to spend my first year of college pretending to be a regular guy, making friends with โ€œthe walking blood bags,โ€ as some vampires call them, and experiencing a tiny bit of freedom before I step into place as my fatherโ€™s presumptive heir. The price? I have to play nice with the other well-bred vampires on campusโ€“a den of snakes I learned to hate a long time agoโ€“and no more boys.

So, of course, the universe sends me the worst kind of temptation in the form of a roommate whoโ€™s cute, sweet, and full of life despite being technically as dead as me. I canโ€™t afford to make mistakes, so I have to keep my distance. I wonโ€™t let my desire for Devon ruin my last chance at freedom.

Devon

My senior year, I realized Iโ€™m bi, met a guy I thought would change my life, and ended up dying in a grungy alley behind a club. Ever since I became a vampire, all Iโ€™ve wanted is to start over and figure out what my life after death looks like.

And then I lay eyes on my smoking hot, dark and broody vampire roommate.

My first impulse is to tear his clothes off and bend him over the counter in our dorm kitchen, but Iโ€™m a nobody, fresh-turned vampire, and heโ€™s rich enough to have actual minions. Maybe I can look, as long as I donโ€™t touch?

Blood Bound is a steamy, M/M romance with a happily ever after. It is second in the Berring College series but can be read as a standalone.

MY REVIEW

5 Stars *****

College is already tough โ€” applications, deadlines, and never-ending expectations. But for Marcus and Devon, itโ€™s more than just classes. They’re trying to find their place on campus while living up to what their families demand from them.

Roommates by chance, the two are worlds apart โ€” oneโ€™s hiding the fact that he’s a born vampire, and the other is just trying to survive the pressure of being turn vampire in a world that asks too much. But late nights and long talks blur the line between friendship and something deeper.

Between supernatural secrets, emotional scars, and simmering chemistry that threatens to boil over, Marcus and Devon might just find that the hardest part of college isnโ€™t the classes โ€” itโ€™s navigating each other.

Together, they might just overcome it all โ€” one turn at a time.
