My Review:
Going into this book and discovering a new author, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but surprise, surprise, I was hooked completely!
Phoenix has worked hard to rebuild his life after being ousted from Splatterstorm Syndicate, launching his own tattoo shop and focusing on staying grounded. But when his brother comes back into town injured, Phoenix gets pulled back into the paintball world—and straight into the orbit of the grumpy, irresistible Hunter Ash.
The slow-burn romance between Phoenix and Hunter was hot, steamy, and filled with tension that kept me turning pages. Watching them navigate their past and grow into something more was so rewarding. Their “lightbulb moment” had me cheering!
Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, and Splatterstorm Syndicate delivered it with heart, heat, and humor. I can’t wait to read more from Kip Ferox—definitely an author to watch!
